100 Thieves Ryoma will start in the mid lane during LCS Spring Split final week.

“What we are sure of is that we will keep going to flesh out our systems with Ryoma for the final week of the season,” said 100 Thieves.General Manager “PapaSmithy” in an announcement released earlier today by the organization.

Ryoma made his 2021 debut last weekend

100 Thieves Ryoma made his 2021 debut last weekend after the team announced that he was going to replace Damonte.

Last week, Ryoma played three games with 100 Thieves on stage. The team only managed to win one of the three games, but Ryoma had a relatively promising scorline of 12/7/16, good enough for the KDA of 4.0 during last week’s competitions.

Even though was not to blame for the two losses, he did little in team fights, particularly in roams. Although success is generally expected against the Golden Guardians due to their poor run, Ryoma still performed exceptionally well.

It’s clear that they still need more time with the team to know precisely how they want to play. However, he certainly has the advantage of a champion pool over Damonte.

100 Thieves have yet to clinch playoff spot of LCS Spring Split

Entering the final week of LCS Spring Split, 100 Thieves have yet to clinch the playoff spot, and currently sit tied for a fourth place share with a record of 9-6. And while they’re just two games out of the first spot, the team is just as many games out of seventh spot, too.

100 Thieves have lost three of their last four games, but they’ve got the chance to secure a spot in the Mid Season Showdown via relatively favorable matchups over Immortals and FlyQuest this weekend, two teams they’ve defeated earlier in the regular season, though Damonte is starting in the middle lane.
