1911 Setup Guide And Best Attachments Class in Modern Warfare
The 1911 pistol is one of the most versatile side weapons in Season 5 of Modern Warfare. This curvaceous semi-automatic pistol is easy to use when firing at long-range targets thanks to its moderate rate of fire. Combined with strong lethality across most ranges, it is definitely one of the more powerful pistols to choose from in the Modern Warfare arsenal.
The gun is based on the Colt 1911 produced by Colt Manufacturing Company.
It has the same damage stat as the X16 above. However, it has a much better range at 30% longer.
- Head: 72-48
- Upper Chest: 42-28
- Lower Chest: 36-24
- Legs: 33-22
Based on the above statistics. 1911, on average, there would be about 3 shots to destroy.
- Rate of Fire: 270 RPM
- Time to Kill: Slow
The gun is a much more viable weapon than the X16. It performed much better in range and its recoil was easier to control. However, it also has a low journal size.
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- .45 Match Grade (Barrel)
- Match grade Trigger (Trigger Action)
- 15 Round Mags (Ammunition)
- Stippled Grip Tape (Rear Grip)
The special combination of these attachments gives players the near-perfect balance between recoil control and high damage at nearly any range possible.
With 15 bullets loaded into the magazine, it’s great for taking down a small group of opponents quickly and allowing you to spend less time reloading and more time taking down the bad guys!
Equipping a monolithic muffler added a stealth element to the gun, drastically reducing the sound but increasing the damage range, making it even more effective at longer ranges.
For the first perk, Scavenger or Double Time is a perfect fit when using 1911 pistol.
Choose Scavenger to steal more ammo from fallen enemies, or choose Double Time to increase your tactical sprint time to navigate the map faster and dodge any incoming enemies.
Perk number two is a bit simpler. Select Hardline to perform killstreaks less than one kill to earn. This perk is perfect when using a pistol as it can be difficult to get a score higher on the list.
A third and final privilege can be two options. Option one is Amped which speeds up your weapon swap, giving you quick access to the pistol.
The second option is Shrapnel which gives you additional damage gear, perfect for target game modes like Hardpoint, Domination, and Headquarters.
1911 Top Tips
Quick on the Draw
When using the gun, reaction time is an essential part of achieving success with the pistol. Do your best to lock your target as quickly as possible to defeat your opponent in a gunfight.
Remember that switching to your pistol is always faster than changing bullets, so reacting quickly to situations can often make a difference.
Thanks to the moderate rate of fire that the gun possesses, 1911 can be controlled easily even at the furthest range.
Even if you don’t kill for sure, making them easy targets for your teammates is always helpful. As always, aim for the upper body to deal the highest amount of damage.
Exploit your inner secret with this specific top tip. Get behind the enemy’s line, take advantage of the invisibility element thanks to the monolithic repressor, and take down the unsuspecting opponents with ease.
If you’re feeling brave, do some daring finishing moves to add insult to the injury!
