AFK Arena is no stranger to crossovers, and now the Persona 5 Joker and Queen, the Phantom Thieves have entered the game. It’s an idle game where you can undertake quests and still earn resources while not playing, if you’re not familiar with AFK Arena.
Technically, you can earn enough resources to get the Joker and Queen for free, but if you don’t want to spend any money, you’re going to have to spend a lot of time at AFK Arena. Here’s how to get your AFK Arena team into the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
How to Get Joker and Queen – AFK Arena
You’ll need a lot of resources to get a Joker and a Queen. These two are dimensional heroes, meaning they are only available and incredibly expensive for a limited time.
To add the heroes to your roster, you can either exchange in-game currency or you can spend real money to get them instantly. Each hero costs 60 fragments to unlock, but if you want them instantly, you can spend real money via an in-app purchase.
Bear in mind that they’re not bundled together, so you’ll have to pay individually for each of them. You must also advance far enough into the game and clear enough stages in order to be able to unlock new heroes.
You’re not going to be able to get them right off the bat if you’re a brand new player. Only until February 27, 2021 will these heroes be available, after which they are gone for good.
They probably won’t ever come back, so if you really want the Phantom Thieves on your team, make sure to start grinding. After their events ended, previous crossover characters like Ezio Auditore have not returned to the in-game store, so there is no reason to believe that Joker and Queen will come back after February.
If you can afford only one, then it seems that the Queen is the better choice between the two. The AFK Arena community has concluded that Queen is a much more useful addition to a team than Joker, who has an underwhelming set of skills, even though the heroes are still very new.
AFK Arena is now available on mobile devices and PCs.
