Aghanim’s Scepter is making heroes so important, that some heroes consider this staff to be the first item to raise in Dota 2. In this article, we will continue to learn which heroes should be equipped with it.
Naga Siren – Aghanim’s Scepter
After some positive edits of Ice Frog, Naga Siren is gradually returning to the role of carrying pos 1. However, in general, her winning rate has not improved much, although the strength is not to be discussed.
Back in the time before being empowered with the arrival of Meteor Hammer, Naga Siren was favored again as support. With the ability to control the map with illusion, plus Song of the Siren can open good combat, Naga Siren becomes a favorite card at pos. Therefore, one of the indispensable items of Naga Siren pos 4 is Aghanim’s Scepter.
By owning Aghanim’s Scepter, Song of the Siren will provide the ability to restore 10% of the maximum health to surrounding teammates throughout its duration. During those 7 seconds, Naga Siren was no different from a moving fountain, even more healing.
Meepo – Aghanim’s Scepter
When the number available of Meepo is 4, if equipped with Aghanim’s Scepter, the power of Meepo will also increase very quickly.
That’s the upgrade of Aghanim’s Scepter on the ultimate Divided We Stand. Accordingly, the green stick will bring one more Meepo, bringing the total number to 5. The presence of 5 Meepo is not merely causing additional physical damage, but also affects its skill. With 5, Poof can deal damage up to 1400, and of course, one more tied from Earthbind. However, Meepo once bought Aghanim’s Scepter will not be able to sell or drop.
As a familiar hero in support position 5, so owning it is a relative luxury for Warlock. For Warlock to have this expensive item, the game usually takes more than 50 minutes, or simply in a team with Alchemist. However, with Aghanim’s Scepter, Warlock became an extremely scary card and played a decisive role in team fights.
The green stick helps Warlock to summon 2 Golems each time he uses the Chaotic Offering while reducing the gold bounty if the Golems are defeated by half. However, the amount of hand damage as well as their health will be partially reduced.
An extremely blue Warlock can summon up to 7 Golems (in case you own both Refresher Orb, Refresher Shard, and plus talent level 20). And with seven giant Golems, each with 2250 health and 160 damage, the enemy’s house soon turned into an airport.
As one of the latest heroes updated by Ice Frog to add these effects. Dragon Knight quickly showed his strength when he owned this brand new item in Inventory.
Specifically, Aghanim’s Scepter will increase DK’s ultimate by 1 more level: level 4 Elder Dragon Form, Black Dragon aka Dendi dragon. Black Dragon has 50% more Corrosive damage (from 20 to 30). Increasesing damage (from 75% to 115%), and slows (60% movement speed and 60 attack speed reduction). It also increases DK’s attack range to 450 and + 40% magic resist.
Zeus – Aghanim’s Scepter
Zeus is one of the heroes owning a whole new skill every time Aghanim’s Scepter is available. This new skill, called Nimbus, is capable of creating an electric cloud at any location on the map. This cloud will create lightning strikes similar to Lightning Bolt, on enemy units in the area. Therefore, it has the same effects as Lightning Bolt, including stun, vision, and true-sight. It also means that Nimbus will not have any effect if Zeus has not added the Lightning Bolt skill.
Nimbus of Zeus will lose 275 mana when used, a 35-second cooldown (29.75 with talent), and a 35-second lifespan if not destroyed by attacks. In case of wanting to destroy Nimbus, melee heroes will lose 4 hits, range heroes take 8 hits and non-hero units lose 16 hits. During his lifetime, Nimbus will jerk Lightning Bolt every 2.25 seconds within a radius of 450. The most unique feature of this skill is that it is counted as a separate damage unit. If the opponent uses Blade Mail inside Nimbus, Zeus will not be affected.
