Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Guide – Tips to know before play

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Sink because you never finished? Then you’ll need some Assassin’s Creed Odyssey tips because there’s a lot to remember and we bet you forgot the buttons. Here we’ll go over the basics, things like the best way to upgrade and set up armor or weapons, the abilities needed to unlock (hello Parrying and Second Wind), and much more. again. These Assassin’s Creed Odyssey tips should make your whole experience easier. So read on, safe to know it’s spoiler-free and just full of cool stuff.

Dismantle armor and weapons

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Don’t be afraid to take off your armor in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. That’s right, you won’t get any items for it, but you will get a resource, the rarity of which varies depending on the strength of the item you’re dismantling. It can be a bit of a hassle running around the world hunting wolves and deer for skins, or trying to spot iron lumps in the ground – plus buying them from a blacksmith will cost you a pretty penny – so removing Unloading items is really a time saver.

Those resources are then at your disposal, so you can use them to upgrade weapons and armor. If you feel your heart rate go up at the thought of destroying armor, you can always choose to only dismantle items that don’t have much value and you’ll still be swimming around in a giant vault of villains enemies like Scrooge McDuck.

Perfect parrying – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Trust me on this: parrying is extremely important. Simultaneously pressing L1 and R1 as soon as an enemy is about to attack you allows you to attack and. When to hit, makes everything but you slo-mo so you can join some attacks before the enemy recovery enemy.

It’s tempting to just dodge attacks, but that’s not always reliable and isn’t a guarantee that you’ll be completely free from an attack (as we’ve hardcore discovered towel). In conquest wars most of the time you’ll find yourself facing two or more enemies at once and that really helps you avoid getting overwhelmed if you’re good at beatings.

Exploration Mode – Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

When you start Odyssey for the first time, you’ll be asked if you want to play in Guided mode or Explore mode. Discovery mode sounds daunting at first, and I certainly imagined a world without a user interface with no indication of where you should go or find a prompt, but it really isn’t so.

Discovery mode doesn’t have waypoints telling you where to go, it’s true, but as long as you get all the information you can from the NPC in question, you’ll get clues in the upper left corner of the game screen where you must go and what you must do. All that’s left for you to do is use your noggin to figure out where you should head in each area. As you get close to your target you will be prompted to send Ikaro to scout ahead which means you’ve come to the right place.

Some side missions

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Just as there are timed quests that disappear after 10 hours on average (you’ll know them by the hourglass next to the quest name). There are also side quests that don’t have an hourglass associated with the quest main. There’s no way to know which ones will go away and which won’t, but they may be loosely linked to the main story or have consequences that will affect the rest of the story of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. But the only way The best way to know if they have consequences is to complete them. Yes, I know that’s not really helpful.
