One of the integral parts of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the choices you make along the way as it can change the outcome of the whole story, such as the choice between Vili and Trygve for Jarl. It can be fun to play it over and over and see different results, however, one ending is often better than the other. There are several choices you make to determine which ending you get, as well as tweaking certain parts of the plot.
The Next Jarl Should Be Vili Or Trygve
Snotinghamscire needs a new Jarl and you can choose whether it’s Vili or Trygve. It should be noted that this choice is only possible if you tell Trygve that he shouldn’t burn himself on the cremation pyre, it shouldn’t really be a difficult decision for you anyway.
Your choice will determine if you add another member to your settlement to help you collect some of the best runes ever.
Trygve Burn Himself
Trygve was Jarl’s right-hand man formerly at Snotinghamscire and is deeply saddened by his passing. He was so emotional that he wanted to burn himself on the cremation pyre so he could go with the man to Valhalla.
If you want Trygve to be Jarl, or some other choice when the time comes, the answer is to stop him from doing so. However, if you’ve already decided that Vili will become Jarl, it doesn’t matter how you choose because the death of Trygve will automatically make this happen.
If You Choose Trygve – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
You get to decide who becomes the Jarl during your conversation with Vili. Eivor may decide to boost Vili’s confidence by informing him that he should be Jarl or telling him that Trygve would be a better choice.
If you choose to let Trygve live, you can choose for him to be Jarl. Those who decide to pick Trygve Jarl are making the right decision as this will bring Vili to your settlement to be part of your raid team.
If You Choose Vili – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Some players decided that Vili Hemmingson deserved to be Jarl (since he was the son of the former Jarl anyway) and wanted to see him in a position of power in Snotinghamscire. However, Trygve will not join your settlement if this is the case, but no matter which choice you make, there will still be an alliance with this region.
Having An Affair With Randvi
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Randvi will confess his feelings to Eivor after their great adventure out of the settlement, and this is a choice that could change the outcome of the story. If you choose to sleep with Randvi, Sigurd will find out and may eventually choose to live in Norway.
However, the other two options are the safer options, but tell Randvi that it’s not the right time, she will still stay with you in the tower until morning. You should keep in mind that you can still romance Randvi after her marriage to Sigurd is over, so it’s best to wait until you beat the game.
Support Sigurd’s Judgement
This is Eivor’s last chance to impress Sigurd if she wants him to reside in the UK, though it remains open to some lingering questions. Eivor will take on Holger and Gudrun’s complaints, as she claims he stole some of her sails.
However, before she can make her own judgment, Sigurd steps in and asks him to settle the matter as Jarl. His decision is a bit harsh, but you have to agree to it if you want him to stay, otherwise, it could lead to him leaving the UK.
Kill Or Spare Leofrith – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
This is a tough decision to make after this boss fight, and Odin’s advice leads you to the wrong choice. He suggests that Leofrith wants to die in glory, but killing him will make your life more difficult in the game.
If you spare Leofrith and tell him the truth about the King’s allegiance, he will be grateful and inform you of the location of a scroll for destruction. Once this is done, zealots will no longer be hunting you all over England.
