Call of Duty Weapons: Rytec AMR Setup Guide

Rytec AMR

Rytec AMR

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Warzone Rytec AMR sniper rifle impresses with its incredible damage and high rate of fire. If you are looking for a good setup, you are in the right place. Let’s go there!

What is so great about the Rytec AMR?

Rytec AMR

The Rytec AMR is the latest weapon added to Modern Warfare and Warzone in Season 4. It’s hard to understand a semi-automatic rifle caliber .50 caliber. Imagine AX50 with Dragunov’s rate of fire. Yes. As if that weren’t enough, you can carry explosive bullets with you. That’s right, snipers shoot, literally, mini rockets.

Rytec AMR setup

Let’s increase the absolute fun of your players when recording content with the right settings:

  • Muzzle: Rytec AMR silencer
  • Run: FTAC Seven Straight
  • Laser: Tactical Laser
  • Visor: Variable zoom telescope
  • Ammunition: Magazine with 5 rounds of 25x59mm explosive bullets

How does this work?

Rytec AMR

Rytec AMR silencers are a counterpart to monolithic silencers and offer additional noise reduction range. The FTAC Seven Straight barrel increases the range, control, and projectile speed. With a tactical laser, you improve your aim speed and stability.

You can choose to use reconnaissance, anaphylactic and fast targeting, or a variable zoom telescope. With the interchangeable zoom telescope, you can switch between 5.5x and 12.6x magnifications, which can be especially useful on larger maps, and of course – in Warzone.

About the last attachment. Explosive bullets deal more damage and have a small explosion radius, so you don’t even need to shoot directly at the target to deal damage. However, in return, you have to deal with a lower rate of fire and bullet speed, with only five rounds per ice.

In multiplayer, you have a real one-hit monster with this setting and especially on the mini maps you can, thanks to the explosive bullets, can also destroy the wounded enemy behind the cover. In Warzone, it is effective against ground targets and vehicles. Four hits and any jeep will turn to the wreckage.

Another Rytec AMR setup

Close-range setup:

  • FTAC 448mm Dictator
  • Tac Laser
  • VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Stippled Grip Tape
  • STOVL Tac-Wrap

If you’re bringing this Rytec AMR setup into multiplayer then you should definitely sub Stippled Grip Tape for Sleight of Hand, but if you’re looking for a mid-range monster in Warzone then this should be done.

We modified this to reduce the target’s aiming speed as much as possible, so everything from the barrel to the range was adjusted with speed. This means you will have reduced ammo damage, travel time, and ammo drop.

However, at close mid-range, the Rytec AMR’s semi-automatic fire rate more than makes up for this, allowing you to take down two enemies with a single hit in just over a second. The target’s aiming speed drops very fast for the sniper rifle, so as long as you don’t try to destroy the buildings with it it can still compete.

Long-range setup:

  • FTAC Seven Straight
  • Tac Laser
  • STOVL Tac-Wrap
  • Stippled Grip Tape
  • 25x59mm Explosive 5-R Mag

There’s no big difference between this Rytec AMR setup and the close-range other than the gun barrel, explosive ammo, and the default sniper range. We still want the target’s aiming speed to drop faster, but the FTAC Seven Straight means we won’t lose too much in bullet speed and drop.
