After having failed to get his North American visa in time for the LCS Lock In tournament, the new top laner “Finn” of CLG has finally got it approved and will soon join his new team.
Finn joined CLG in the offseason with Rogue of the LEC after finishing all the way to the 2020 World Championship. Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min, who will be active on the Academy roster in 2021, is replaced by the Swedish top laner.
Unfortunately for Finn, after going 1-3 in his matches, CLG is already out of the LCS Lock In tournament. With new players subbing in, CLG was struggling to find momentum and ended up losing to Golden Guardians, Team Liquid, and Team SoloMid. CLG managed to take down 100 thieves, but it wasn’t enough for the group stage to move forward.
On February 5, CLG will play its next game and Finn will then finally be on the active roster. Whether Broxah will make it in time to compete as the LCS kicks off remains unknown.
