The Bulldog is one of the rifles available in Valorant. This weapon is most effective at close and mid-range. It has 24 laps in its magazine. Just one shot directly at an unarmored enemy is enough to kill them – 116 damage within an effective range of the weapon.
The Bulldog – Inexpensive, but Not Cheap
As the cheapest rifle, the Bulldog in Valorant is a solid choice – at least if you master it. It is not easy to target. It costs an average and leaves enough credit in your account to equip yourself with a shield and some abilities. The gun lives up to its name because of the goosebumps on everyone on the map. Sure, it’s not quiet, but at least you can get your opponent out of the game with a loud bang.
Damage, Fire Rate, Spray Pattern
If you’re buying this gun as an upgrade to your SMG, you’ll find it offers a number of advantages. A one-shot in the head or three hits the body and an unarmored opponent will be killed. Headshots deal 116 damage, 35 hulls, and 30 legs.
The rate of fire is also slightly lower than SMG: 9.15 rounds per second with 24 rounds of ice. Bulldog has one very good thing for it and that is the fact that damage doesn’t decrease with distance. Whether you’re shooting an enemy 10 meters or 50 meters away makes no difference. The damages remain the same.
On the other hand, hitting a target at long range is not as easy as it seems. Its shot pattern requires some training: after about three shots, the weapon will pull up, only to sink again later and transform into a right-left swivel.
You’d better practice this a couple of times before trying it out in an actual game. To compensate, you should move the weapon downwards after the first shots and then manually move left and right – just a little to compensate for the weapon’s movement.
Because the gun has a “risky” shot and isn’t quite quiet, it’s not perfect for flanks unless you can quickly take down all of your close foes before they can react. It can hit once on an unarmed opponent at any distance, so if your enemy is just doing an eco round, you can be wild.
Alternatively, you can stick with one of your teammates and finish off an injured enemy. The weapon has medium wall penetration so it won’t penetrate the thickest walls, but in most cases, you should be able to do some damage.
When Should You Buy the Bulldog?
Yes, the gun is the cheapest rifle in the game, but 2100 credit is still pretty high. The best time to buy it is when your opponent is doing a round of savings or you have won the previous round of pistols. This weapon is especially useful if you want to spend some money on equipment to shield certain heroes – sometimes this is even more valuable than a better, more expensive weapon.
The Best Agents for the gun
Any agent with a weapon is advised to use it if he can control it. Both attacker and defender benefit from Bulldog, but there are often better choices. For example, the defender can hold better scores with a sniper or a spoiler. On the internet, you can see many Sage players approaching it and going alone, but we also recommend using Jett, Breach, Raze, and Brimstone.
