Swamp Thing Move List
Down, Back + Light Attack
As the projectile moves, Swamp Thing kicks off a log and rolls it on the ground at your opponent’s feet.
Down, Forward, Light Attack
A move can be blocked but otherwise, it is possible to get the opponent from anywhere on the screen even in the air if you use the right variant of it. When using the Meter Burn, you can choose to hold forwards or backward to throw them forward or behind you. Doing this also causes additional damage.
Down, Forward + Medium Attack
A close-range grab move allows him to perform a number of different actions such as dealing massive damage or to restore some of his own lives. The light attack will strangle your enemy with thorns. A medium attack will knock them to the floor. The heavy attack will make you rush into opponents in hand to take them down. Burning watches will ruin their lives to restore your watch.
Down, Back + Medium Attack
Branchlet sprouted from his shoulder. This ability can be used as an anti-air agent. The burning meter also causes a tree branch to come out from his leg to increase the size of the attack.
Back, Forward + Heavy Attack
Swamp Thing lunged at his opponent and swung his arms to knock them off the ground. Burning clock here will increase your opponent’s juggling status allowing for good tracking.
Down, Back + Heavy Attack
His clone appears behind your opponent and hits them. Burning clocks on this move cause the clone to hold them, causing the original one to approach and attack.
Swamp Thing Supermove
When the Green Kingdom activates Swamp Thing reach out to the ground and will attack to grab the opponent no matter where they stand. If they are in the air then there will be no chance of this attack connecting. If it works then he pulls his enemies underground where giant blue fists punch and smash them. Eventually, the opponent’s fist came out of the ground and he removed his hand from Earth.
Abigail’s Garden prevents the player from plunging or jumping anywhere with flowers from where Swamp Thing has been since using this skill. Pressing the character’s power button again will cause the flower to stop growing but leave a sticker already on the screen. One press of the button will eventually remove the garden.
Swamp Thing Tips
He is a grappler that can deal massive damage if he can keep his enemies close. Luckily, he has a number of attacks to close the gap and his character’s power will keep them there as you bring them to you. Use some burned meters on the Bio-Fission, dive in, and use your character’s powers to keep them close. You can ignore them once they are yours.
