Fortnite Data miners have claimed that they believe Fortnite Ant-Man will be the next Marvel hero to get a new skin. Fans love nothing more than upcoming cosmetics and events in the popular battle royale.
Portals have been popping up all over the map for the past few weeks, according to Fortnite players. The most recent shows a forested environment. Players can hear sounds that sound like bugs coming from the muddy ground below the trees. While AntMan is not shown, the codename of the portal is “SmallFry.” This makes the possibility even more likely.
An appearance by Fortnite Ant-Man in Season 5
With so many Marvel heroes in Fortnite, an appearance by Fortnite Ant-Man in Season 5 wouldn’t be surprising.
Throughout the Zero Point storyline, Epic has used these portals to introduce new skins. Tron was later announced after the portal revealed a neon digital world. Street Fighter was announced with skins for Ryu and Chun-Li when the portal showed Ryu’s Suzaku Castle stage.
The most recent portal is almost certainly a foreshadowing of a future crossover. And fans believe Epic will return to Marvel this time. This season shifted away from Epic’s rich and action packed Marvel crossover events and instead focused on characters from Alien, Predator, Halo, God of War, and even GI Joe. In Season 5, Fortnite Ant-Man would be the first Avenger to appear.

Given Fortnite Ant-Man‘s involvement with quantum physics and dimensional travel, it will be fascinating to see how this latest superhero progresses through this storyline.
Season 6 is expected to start after next week, around March 15. There will almost certainly be a cinematic event to kick off the new season before then. It’ll almost certainly revolve around Zero Point, which is a portal to other worlds located beneath The Loop.
It’s becoming increasingly unstable, which explains why so many characters from different realities and universes have joined the battle royale.
