Epic Games frequently introduces new features and challenges to Fortnite, and not all of them are a hit.
Fans ask Epic to remove the game’s vehicle related challenges. Vehicles have become an increasingly large part of the famous battle royale, and in terms of actually winning, their importance while they are entertaining to use.
The aircraft, boats, and cars appear to draw attention and leave drivers vulnerable to snipers and other attacks, while being great for moving quickly across the map.
Fans have not always complained about vehicles, but they are becoming an inevitable part of the experience with Epic incorporating cars into the Battle Pass challenges.
There is a legendary challenge in Episode 2: Season 5, Week 7 that tells players to damage enemies in vehicles. The multi-tiered challenge requires players to cause 2,500 damage to vehicle opponents, which is not easy to pull off, but is essentially required for battle pass levels for those grinding.
As many players took to Reddit to air their frustrations. One thread said they never see opponents using those noisy vehicles, so that this challenge is almost impossible to complete. This challenge and the other vehicle-related ones simply felt like a grind for other players.
To start with, many players avoided vehicles. It’s even less likely to see players using them when a challenge emerges that makes people in vehicles an even bigger target. And even if players wanted to hop in a car, it was pointed out that the map does not have enough vehicles to complete the challenge anyway.
Others have said that some cars have bugs that make it frustrating to use them.
There has been no response from Epic Games to the ongoing complaints about their vehicle challenges. Lately, the developers have listened to other complaints, meaning they might eventually address the concerns.
Where to find cars in Fortnite?
Thanks to Fortnite‘s RNG, cars pop up on the map a bit randomly. It’s impossible to really predict their exact spawning locations. But there are some popular places where vehicles show up more frequently than others. There is a one in three chance of having a car in the following spots:
-Catty Corner (Usually a larger car)
-Pleasant Park (Typically small and medium)
-Salty Springs (Usually small and medium)
-Holly Hedges (usually small)
-The Area West of Misty Meadows
-Bridge near Pleasant Park
-Steamy Stacks (in the car park)
