With the latest Banner rolling out, Genshin Impact Ningguang has always been at the top of the minds of many players thanks to her increased drop rate.
For those of you who have introduced (or are looking for) her, here’s how to get the most out of the top Geo DPS.
Genshin Impact Ningguang Guide
Long and short are most of the 4 * + Catalysts that will work on Genshin Impact Ningguang and will match well with her gameplay – the only exception being Royal Grimoire because of community consensus. It was just inconsistent and she frequently napes making the weapon effect faint.
With that said, there are a number of Outstanding Catalysts in the form of selection options:
Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
Elemental DMG rewards stack the longer you fight (up to 32%) and 10% movement speed is a powerful pairing for Nigguang. Great if you plan on letting her hang out in the long run.
Memory of Dust
Shield strength increased by 20% and another cumulative damage bonus, but this time it is increased when hitting opponents. It’s capped at 20%, but activates a lot faster than the Lost Prayer – and it does a lot with Nigguang’s kit.
The Memory of Dust’s 20% ATK bonus is doubled when the user is protected by a shield (shields with 20% stronger memory ability) and as a Geo user Genshin Impact Ningguang can join continues to create shields through the Crystalise elemental reaction. Pick up those elemental shards and begin to deal with the damage.
Pair this with a 4-piece Retracing Bolide artifact and a shield or two of teammates with a shield and see the wound rushing in.
Prototype Malice & Mappa Mare
If you’re bound to the Catalyst then two possible forged options, Prototype Malice, and Mappa Mare are really effective choices.
The Mappa Mare provides and rewards 8-16% elemental damage when activating an elemental reaction, which can be easily done through the Niggunag’s geological-infused automobile, while the prototype Malice delivers much More utility by providing healing and restoring energy when she uses her Elemental Burst.
Artifacts – Genshin Impact Ningguang
Again, there are some options with artifacts for Genshin Impact Ningguang, but the end result should always be to find the maximum DPS – either by overusing her low-skill CDs at the high Constellation level or by Focus on her brutal auto-attack turns.
Topping the list is a 2 piece Archaic Petra with a 15% Geo DMG Bonus combined with a 2 piece Berserker for an additional 12% CRIT Rate.
It’s great at all stages of the game and maximizes Ninggauang’s abilities, and empowered cars are great for achieving high DPS.
Then into the game, you can switch to the Berserker set for Gladiator’s Finale 2 pieces to get that sweet 18% DMG Reward when you have artifacts with a good CRIT Rate (mostly found on circles as key and then sub-metric). If you want to buy a heavier Elemental Burst build, (great if you can get to C6), use the 2-piece Noblesse Oblige instead.
Another option is to purchase a full 4-piece Retracing Bolide set, especially if you have a Memory of Dust for a weapon. The shield strength increases by 35% combined with 20% of the weapon for impressive stamina and more serious means your shield is able to maintain a 4-piece effect + 40% tons of damage Attacks and accumulates when protected by a shield. Use your Jade Screen to block ranged attacks and then watch the inaccessible DPS queen take off.
Finally, an easy and cheap option is just to run Soujouner’s 4 Piece Resolution for the ATK bounty and improve the CRIT Attack Rate charged.
