If you are just starting your adventure at Hogwarts Academy, you have a lot to learn. What do you say to help your school years start quickly and graduate easily using our recommendations? You can find Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery tips and advice in this guide that will make your gaming experience more enjoyable.
Read the Dialogs
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a story-driven game, if you try to make progress without reading the dialogues, you won’t be able to understand what’s going on around you. This will make it difficult for you to understand what to do next. More importantly, because some of your dialogue choices will change the story, you’ll make your character level up much slower and not be able to build friendships.
For example, if you randomly answer professors’ questions, you may lose house points, which is very important. Or, random dialog choices may prevent you from earning attribute points. This is not an action game and you need to enjoy the story: Read all the dialogue for this reason.
Customize Character – Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
The personalization options offered at the beginning of the game are quite limited, you can only determine how your character will look. After completing the first chapter, you will get more customization options. You can change your character’s clothes and name. To change the name, click on the avatar icon in the upper left corner.
For new clothes and accessories, you can click the closet icon in the lower right corner. The name change is free but you have to pay in gold for the clothes and accessories.
Resetting the Game – Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
If for some reason you want to start the game from scratch, this is easy to do: Do not connect your account to Facebook. When you launch Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery for the first time, it gives you the option to connect to Facebook. If you don’t do this, your saved files are only stored on the device you play on. So if you switch to another device, you can start the game from scratch and continue.
But if you have already connected your account to Facebook and still want to start the game from the very beginning, you can still do this. Simply put, “unlink” your account from Facebook, you can do this from the “Account” section.
Choose the Duration Carefully
Some missions in the game give you an option before you start: Determine how long they will last. You can set the task duration for 1-hour, 3-hours, or 8-hours. The longer the time, the more energy it takes to complete that task. However, more prizes will also be awarded at the end of the quest. For example, you can earn a house point bonus in just 8-hour quests.
You have to decide according to your mana: You must have at least 20 mana points for the 3-hour quests. Do not start 8-hour missions with less than 40 mana. The 1-hour quests shouldn’t be prioritized as they won’t give you any useful rewards, but you can pick them up if you have very little energy left and want to continue the story.
