As the LCK spring playoffs approach, Gen.G Rascal top laner Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee is currently leading the global solo kill leaderboard.
Leads the leaderboard with 19 solo kills
Gen.G Rascal currently leads the leaderboard with 19 solo kills so far this season. This statistic is dominated by Korean players in general. This is most likely due to the LCK’s best of three format, which allows players to play more games. In addition, it appears that the LCK as a whole is becoming more aggressive, with players willing to take risks in 1v1 situations.
Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon of KT Rolster and Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon of Hanwha Life are right behind Gen.G Rascal with 17 and 16 solo kills, respectively. The difference between the top three is that Rascal and Doran both have over 30 isolated deaths during the split, whereas Chovy has only died 16 times without any teammates within 1500 in game units.
oVietnamese top laner Pham “Zeros” Lộc, who currently plays for SBTC Esports, has a higher solo kill ratio than Bwipo. The Vietnamese league is known for its fast paced action and a large number of aggressive players. Zeros is the most recent example of this, as he has 12 solo kills in only 12 games.
This is despite his team being the third best in the VCS with a 5-2 record. As the playoffs approach, there will undoubtedly be more solo kills, and given their frequent isolation on the map, the top laners may continue to get the most.
