The Spanish organization MAD Lions is searching for international players to fill out the Counter Strike Global Offensive roster.
According to a report by 1pv.fr, MAD Lions is taking into consideration several European players to be part of MAD Lions CSGO team. The news is that the team are down to only one active player with only Thomas “TMB” Bundsbaek remaining.
A major change in the direction of MAD Lions CSGO
It would mean a major change in the direction of the CSGO team, as the Danish lineup has since acquired the former Tricked squad at the end of 2019.
Several players have sold off to different teams in recent months, when Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand joined Mousesport and the duo Ismail “refrezh” Ali and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck were acquired by Team Heroic.
Today, they announced that two of their remaining players, Fredrik “roeJ” and Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen, will be placed on the transfer list. The organization says they want a “new direction” for its division of the CSGO.
RoeJ confirms the team are looking for international CSGO players
RoeJ confirmed that the recent exit of sjuush and refresh caused the organization to gather an international roster. While enough Danish talent is available, MAD Lions is convinced that bringing international talent will give a boost to their CSGO team.
According to the earlier mentioned report by 1pv.fr, The organization is talking to a number of free agents. Simon “twist” Eliasson, Michal “MICHU” Muller, and Bogdan ” xsepower” Chernikov are all reportedly talking about joining the team.
Since 2017, MAD Lions has been active in CSGO. Early in the day, the team was mostly represented by Spanish players. But it acquired the former Tricked lineup at the end of 2019. The team won FLASHPOINT Season 1 but lately failed to make consistency in their performance.
