With your first character in Marvel’s Avengers, you’ll have a bunch of different quests to complete. They will point you in the right direction and give you some important gear in addition to the quest rewards. But for your next characters, you have a little more freedom in terms of equipment and levels.
Most quests are usually fine for one grind and not another:
- The Hive Quest and the HARM Challenge yield some serious XP, but there are very few chests inside, so you have to rely entirely on enemy drops to get fresh loot.
- The Vault quest is easily the best one, with lots of chests to loot around each map and plenty of chests in the final area. But you only fight many enemies until the end, so you won’t get much XP.
- Priority tasks, which rotate weekly, often provide a good mix of the two. However, some of them require a fairly high Power Level, so you won’t be able to complete all of them until later in your journey.
We haven’t had a case where soft threshold 130 before hitting level 50. Lots of quests push you towards your Strength Level, but nothing requires you to be level 50.
