ONE Esports has not officially announced the event, but this indicates that an official revelation is set to come.

ONE Esports became a big player in Dota 2

With the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore, which had a $500,000 prize pool, ONE Esports became a big player in Dota 2 overnight in 2019, while being a mixed martial arts promoter.

Another similar event was arranged for 2020 at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Invitational Jakarta, preceded by the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2020, the first Dota Pro Circuit event held by the organizer. All of the events were organized along with PGL, a company that traditionally produces The International.

Both the Invitational Jakarta ONE Esports Dota 2 and the Singapore Major 2020 were canceled. Most recently, ONE ran an online league with a $100,000 prize pool, the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League.

For the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season, Valve’s plans seem to revolve around knowing the events that were intended to happen in 2020. The 2021 season is meant to close with The International 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, in addition to reviving the cancelled Singapore Major.

Which team is playing at the 2021 Singapore Dota 2 Major? – ONE Esports Singapore Major

As yet, no teams are officially attached to Singapore dota 2 Major 2021. 18 teams will be included in the event, which will be determined by the Dota Pro Circuit Leagues of the upper division.

China and Europe will send four teams each, Southeast Asia and the CIS will send three teams each, and North and South America will split the remaining four spots evenly.

A new format that includes 18 teams will feature the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit majors. The event is split up into three phases.

The first one is a six-team wildcard eliminator, where the teams will play in a round robin. The top two teams will move on to the stage of the group. The group stage will bring together two wild card teams and the second place teams from each of the Dota Pro Circuit Upper Division leagues.

The eight teams will play another round robin, with the top two teams starting in the upper bracket, the bottom two being eliminated, and the other four continuing in the lower bracket.

The six teams from the group stage will then join the top teams from each top division of the DPC league. The 12 will face off in a double elimination bracket.

On March 25, the ONE Esports Singapore Major will begin and run until April 4.
