Blizzard has just launched a new Awesome Hanzo Skin update to Overwatch, and it couldn’t be easier to unlock.
The brand new Kyogisha Hanzo Skin is now available in Overwatch along with its new Kanezaka Deathmatch map. Unique cosmetics are only available for a short time only but you won’t have to spend a dollar to unlock them.
From outside seasonal events, the Overwatch community is mostly handled with specific Skin releases. From the LEGO Bastion to the Nano Cola D.Va skin and a lot more. Now, it’s Hanzo’s turn in the spotlight with his own exclusive cosmetics.
Despite the existing look, there’s a handful of similarly themed rewards, including Sprays and Player Icons. You should claim all of that without much difficulty. Here’s what you need to know.
How to get Kyogisha Hanzo Skin – Overwatch
If you’re looking to unlock everything in the recent update, there are two different tasks. However, the first task couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do, in Overwatch, is play and win. There are no special conditions to play as, or anything of the kind, no certain heroes. In Overwatch, just winning will get the job done.
Quick Play, Competitive Play, and any Arcade mode will all lead to advancement. Therefore, without having to put much effort into it, you’ll always be chipping away at the fresh items. Before January 25, winning just nine games in total will unlock three unique rewards.
Kanezaka Challenge rewards – Overwatch
3 Wins – Pagoda Player Icon
6 Wins – Yōkai Spray
9 Wins – 1 New Epic Skin: Kyogisha Hanzo
The Epic skin is entirely unique from anything Hanzo has ever had before. After this event period, you will not be able to grab it at any time, so be sure to get your games in soon.

You can also grab a few other items without even needing to open Overwatch, apart from these three rewards for playing the game. Players will also be rewarded just for watching their favorite streamers play the game, no different from earlier events.
From now till January 25, tuning in to any OW livestream on Twitch will make you progress towards an assortment of new sprays. For each phase, here are the requirements:
Kanezaka Challenge stream-time rewards
2 Hours Watched – 1 New Spray
4 Hours Watched – 2 New Sprays
6 Hours Watched – 3 New Sprays
You’re not going to have to worry about all six hours of binging on the first day. It works just as well to slowly chip away at this one over the course of the event.
Up until January 25, these exclusive rewards will be live across all platforms. That means you’re going to have two weeks or so to get your games in and kick back with your favorite streamers.
