Reports say pro player CSGO KennyS might switch to Valorant

Currently, there is some news about the legendary professional player of CSGO KennyS may be packing to switch to Valorant.

KennyS continues to move forward as more players switch

The infamous pro CSGO KennyS exodus to Valorant continues to move forward as more players switch games. Most recently, former OG rifle Ethan “Ethan” Arnold left for Valorant Esports, leaving CSGO fans in shock.

The up and coming scene of Riot’s shooter matures into proper sports, tempting North American CSGO players to miss out on major events during the online tournament. However, KennyS is the biggest name in European sports, which has dropped a  hint about a Valorant switch.

The news of his move came after a screenshot of Team Alliance’s in-game lobby went viral. The picture showed a player named NBKennyS playing along with the Alliance lineup. While that person could be anyone, the rumors were later set on by prominent reports. Arran “Halo” Spake took to Twitter and shared that CSGO KennyS was on trial with the Alliance for Valorant lineup. The news was startled by the fans of the CSGO, who expected the legendary player to continue his Counter Strike career.

CSGO kennyS considering going pro in Valorant

CSGO KennyS was recently benched in G2 Esports after a four year stint with the organization. In his decorated CSGO history, KennyS is mainly honored for his unique AWP style that transformed the CSGO meta. The 25 year old has a long account in CSGO, which is why fans hoped that he would not follow in the footsteps of younger pro players who decided to switch.

The AWPer himself had assured that the Valorant switch was not on the cards when he announced his exit from G2 sports.

Despite his earlier statement, the French AWPer jumped into the buzz bandwagon and uploaded a teaser to his Twitter account. Valorant agent Jett’s GIF was enough to take the fans of CSGO to their feet, who were eagerly waiting for the rumors to be dismissed.

Previously, it wasn’t certain whether the news was legitimate or not, but Kenny’s recent tweet undoubtedly added fuel to the fire. The player is likely to have fun with fans as he has made sure that the news of his new CSGO team signing will be out in a couple of days. Only time will tell if the CSGO pro scene is going to lose another legend to Valorant, or if KennyS is going to stay to continue his legacy.
