After a bit of delay, Season 4 of Modern Warfare and Warzone has arrived! With brand new maps, game modes, and more, you can unlock two new weapons via the Battle Pass, the Fennec submachine gun, and the CR-56 Amax assault rifle. Unlocked at level 31 in the Battle Pass, the newest addition to the AR category is Infinity Ward’s inclusion of Galil AR that has appeared in previous titles. In this article, we’ll look at what we can expect for the CR-56 AMAX, its best attachments, the best CR-56 AMAX loadout to use.

CR-56 Amax Loadout: Silent But Deadly

CR-56 Amax loadout

This first CR-56 AMAX loadout is the perfect choice for hiding yourself on the map and giving a terrible punch in mid-range gunfights.

Attachments

  • Tactical Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • XRK Zodiac S440 (Barrel)
  • FTAC Hunter (Stock)
  • XRK CR-56 Stippled Wrap (Rear Grip)
  • Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)

This attached combination provides stability when fighting a target in range and despite the addition of a suppressor, the damage is still extremely high with a kill of only 4 bullets in most situations.

Perks

  • Scavenger (Perk 1)
  • Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Battle Hardened (Perk 3)

Garbage collection is necessary for this CR-56 Amax Loadout to function as efficiently as possible. With attachments allowing you to navigate maps with ease, Scavenger will mean you never run out of ammo on the battlefield.

Ghost helps you hide from any opposing UAV in the air, ideal for attacking unsuspecting opponents while Battle Hardened reduces the power of enemy flash, stun, and aura effects, helping you practice focus on the action going on.

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Smoke Grenade (Tactical)

Probably the most versatile piece of equipment in the entire game, the frag grenade can be used for a variety of things, from cleaning up auxiliary structures to throwing around the map in the hopes of connecting with enemies.

Like a frag, the smoke grenade can be used as a final piece of cover or to block a line of sight that helps you safely move to another location.

Field Upgrades

  • Dead Silence

Armed with destructive weapons, you don’t want your own footsteps to take your place, so use Dead Silence for a slight speed boost and completely silent footsteps, allowing you to move around the map where the enemy doesn’t know your location.

AR or SMG?

CR-56 Amax loadout

This is the CR-56 Amax Loadout for you who want to get in on the action.

Attachments

  • FSS 8.3” Intruder (Barrel)
  • No Stock (Stock)
  • XRK CR-56 Stippled Wrap (Rear Grip)
  • 45 Round Mags (Ammunition)
  • Operator Foregrip (Underbarrel)

This set makes this weapon lethal in melee situations. A larger magazine means less reload time and more time to take down enemies with ease.

The small barrel doesn’t hinder damage while the additional maneuverability makes it on par with some SMGs.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Hardline (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

Since this CR-56 Amax Loadout is geared towards aggressive gameplay, the EOD is a must to last for a longer time.

Increasing the enemy’s explosive resistance is ideal to keep you in the fight. It’s no secret that being aggressive means you may die more so Hardline will mean your kills need fewer kills to earn, meaning you still have a chance. Assembly scores are higher on the list. Finally, it was Amped.

Faster weapon swaps are ideal in situations where you can’t recharge, so choose your side weapon wisely.

Grenades

  • Semtex (Lethal)
  • Stun Grenade (Tactical)

Field Upgrades

  • Trophy System
