Yoshimitsu is known as the original Mechanical Ninja and uses her twin Katana known as Manji Sword and Fu-Ma Blade in a very unorthodox method. Using his special style, he is able to keep perfect balance on his blade-like pogo stick, hovers in the air, teleport, and even perform Seppuku dealing self-damage to one opponent. The player is not suspicious.
Soul Calibur 6 Yoshimitsu Strategy
There are a total of 3 different weapons that you can freely use while playing the role of Yoshimitsu.
First up is his Katana, which is a very famous Samurai weapon, no need for an introduction. The second weapon you have is a short sword called a wakizashi. In addition, you can also use many different mysterious powers.
He is a character that doesn’t have too far range. However, you have a lot of speed and a lot of different paths for you to attack your enemies.
The best example of this can be seen with the fact that you can fly over your enemies and attack their backside.
One of the best abilities you have is that you can absorb an opponent’s power with your attack and then damage them back.
If you are playing against an opponent who is a very strong hitman and does a lot of damage with its attacks, then this move could be the main weapon you have at your disposal.
When playing, what you want to do is use your movement as much as possible.
You have plenty of opportunities to surprise your enemies as you have so many weird animations that make the enemy unable to guess exactly what you are doing.
The Critical Edge that Yoshimitsu uses is called the Ghost Thief’s Funeral. This attack is very powerful and can be used to not only cause damage but also drain an enemy’s Soul Gauge when it is hit.
Whenever you use Critical Edge, you will take down an enemy and get close to it. The slightly slow attack means the enemy can not only stop you but counterattack as well.
For that reason, you need to make sure your timing is right and that you are doing this when the enemy is probably recovering from a previous attack, as that will allow you to almost guarantee told a hit.
Doing this will then drain the Soul Gauge. One of the best ways to use this attack is to do it when you intend to perform some moves with the Soul Gauge but cannot get close to the enemy.
You can use Critical Edge to instantly shorten the distance with each other and then wreak havoc on your enemies.
One last thing you can do is save this move when the enemy has a very strong Critical Edge or Soul Charge and you want to make sure you’re less vulnerable than you are now.
Yoshimitsu Soul Charge
While in Soul Charge, Yoshimitsu can use basic attacks without having to spend anything. However, they reduce the time you can stay in Soul Charge.
During this time, you have access to 3 new moves called Oni Killer, Manji Dragonfly, and Nimbus.
You can also switch to a new special pose that wasn’t included in the previous games. This pose is called Super Dragonfly which allows you to perform an extremely fast and unstoppable attack called the Transcendent Dragonfly.
