Chun-Li has been a part of the Street Fighter franchise for as long as I can remember. You can play as her from many ranges. You can target and hold your opponent or close the distance and use an attack-oriented approach.
How to Play Chun-Li
When playing at a long range, _ you can use Kikoken LP / MP to put pressure on your opponent. You can also use LP Kikoken to close the gap by following it.
To combat other bullets, you can simply curl up with MP. However, note that it takes time and inevitability. M. Bison’s EX Psycho Blast and F.A.N.G.’s Nishodoku’s.
The mid-range is said to be one of the strongest positions for Chun-Li. You can easily fiddle with HP, b / f + MP, MK, and HK.
In addition to this normal (s), she also has special anti-air defense capabilities. You can also combine her low (s) with a number of overhead (s) at your disposal to confuse your opponent and let them guess.
Although not excellent, she can manage quite well in close combat. When fighting at close range, you need to perform forward throws, stand and bow LP, LK, MP, and b + HP.
There are many attacks at your disposal that you can branch together at close range. At close range, you also need to practice LK / MK Air Hayakuretsukayaku at the lowest possible score.
Skills of Chun-Li
Chun-Li jumps low and comes forward at a 45-degree angle – much more powerful than the standard jump. It can be used to kill opponents.
Her special moves and basic attacks are significantly buffed while in this mode. Multiple attacks can now cause two hits or cause additional damage or stunning until the V-Trigger Gauge is exhausted.
Special Moves of Chun-Li
Warning: Chun-Li has several Charging Moves. If you’d like to know how to make better use of these moves, check out the Bill Actions section in our main guide.
(Charge: Back – Forward + Punch)
She shoots a fireball flying across the screen. The button used determines its pain level and travel distance – using a heavy punch will mean it hits hard but doesn’t move far away, while a light punch will deal less damage but move close as full screen. An EX version is available, and this move increases the power significantly in the V-Trigger.
(Quarter Circle Forward + Kick)
More known as the ‘Lightning Legs’, Chun-Li launches consecutive kicks at your opponents. Light Kick versions hit 4 times, Medium 5 and Heavy 6. Now you can also do this in the air. The EX version is also available.
Spinning Bird Kick
(Charge: Down – Up + Kick)
She turns upside down and spins like a helicopter. The heavier the kick is used, the further she will move with more kicks if you hit the opponent. The EX version rotates in place and is an ideal anti-counterattack attack.
Critical Art (Super) – Hoyokusen
(Quarter Circle Forwards x2 + Kick)
Her super move is basically a fast-paced version of Lightning Legs – she lunges forward with just one main kick. If this connects, Super will go into its full animation. If not, after all, she’ll kick in a bunch more. There’s a nice short forward for that first kick, so you don’t have to face the opponent completely when you activate it.
Air Throw: Ryuseiraku
(Light Punch + Light Kick near an airborne opponent)
Chun-Li has an aerial throw, which means if you meet an opponent in the air you can grab them and throw them to the ground like any other throw.
