Resident Evil 2 – zombie PC games
- Developer: Capcom
- Publisher: Capcom
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: January 25, 2019
Capcom has been one of the iconic zombie PC game development studios over the years and it has brought in some staggering IPs. One of them is Resident Evil, a title we’re sure to include on this list, and as iconic as this series, it’s no surprise the development team decided to handle remakes.
Unfortunately for gamers, most of the remake versions have been devoted to the original title and although that wasn’t a bad thing, for fans of the series, there has been a lot of pleading for the developers to come up with a remake, Resident Evil 2. Well, it took a couple of years but Capcom has done it and gives gamers a remake of Resident Evil 2 for current-generation platforms. This remake does exactly what Capcom did with the original one.
The Resident Evil 2 remake has brought a visual overhaul that makes the game look fresh and crisp.
However, there have been some changes to the game overall, such as the gameplay mechanics, such as removing the standard tank controls from previous years to the easy-to-accept third-person mechanics. Get more than found in the current latest releases. Likewise, there is a change to the camera system as the player will win at dealing with the fixed camera viewing angle.
Instead, the development team decided to bring the camera in and feature it over the shoulder, bringing the player closer to the action. Fortunately, the game has changed in terms of plot. Players will still take control of both Leon Kennedy and Clair Redfield as they try to escape the undead Raccoon City.
