Very few people who have other options would choose to do crimes, but culturally we found this idea very appealing. We rely heavily on our entertainment content on people doing terrible things that we will defame in real life. This is true in crime games.

Following its release, there have been a lot of complaints about GTA4 being more restricted than previous crime games in the series. People don’t like cars that feel heavier and your action in the world doesn’t have the same kind of lightness. Instead, what they are trying to do is create a game with a more meaningful story to tell about crime and how it involves immigrants’ understanding of the American dream.

There was no skydiving or skydiving, but there was a very well-told adult story.

Oh, you could also go bowling with your cousin, that’s obviously the best part and no one has anything bad to say about it.

Grand Theft Auto V – crime games

  • Developer: Rockstar North
  • Publisher: Rockstar Games

  • Release: September 17, 2013

Grand Theft Auto 5 is the first game in the GTA series that doesn’t lock our perspective on a single character, instead we get the chance to play the role of three different characters in a long crime story and well-written.

The plot is familiar, with minor crimes leading to larger crimes and government agents hooking up the main characters before they are finally responsible for their own destiny. It’s a typical GTA engine, but far better than almost anything else out there.

Red Dead Redemption 2

  • Developer: Rockstar Studios
  • Publisher: Rockstar Games
  • Platforms: PS4, XBO
  • Release: October 26, 2018

Rockstar Games has produced a number of incredible games. Their favorite series Grand Theft Auto, Bully’s only IP release, and of course their old Western series, Red Dead Redemption is just a few to name. Red Dead Redemption has a huge following and gamers around the world who are definitely waiting for new news from Rockstar for their latest installment, Red Dead Redemption 2.

In the game, players progress through an adventure with an outlaw named Arthur Morgan and the Va der Linde gang. This seems to be a fierce Far West, and if it resembles the original Red Dead Redemption alongside Grand Theft Auto V then you can expect a few random encounter missions taking part outside of the main campaign.

While there are options to direct Arthur into a more morally decent character, the crime games give players plenty of opportunities to live life as a ruthless outlaw who often runs away.
