Instead of running directly into the action, Type 63 is best used to see the areas where all the action takes place. The ability to fire multiple shots quickly thanks to its semi-automatic nature makes the Type 63 extremely effective in medium to long-range gunfights. If you can get into a good spot on the map, the chance of dealing a lot of damage is very high. Below we will introduce to you the best Black Ops Type 63 loadout to help you master this weapon.
Best Attachments for Black Ops Type 63
- Kobra Red Dot (Optic)
- Muzzle Brake 7.62 (Muzzle)
- 17.3” Strike Team (Barrel)
- Marshal Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Steady Aim Laser (Body)
- Tactical Stock (Stock)
- Fast Mag (Magazine)
- Mike Force Rear Grip (Handle)
Regardless of distance, this attachment combination deals a tremendous amount of damage whether it’s in a close-range contest or long-distance duel from side to side of the map.
- Sound Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 6.83” Extended (Barrel)
- Steady Aim Laser (Body)
- 12 Rd Speed Mag (Magazine)
- Quickdraw Handle (Handle)
We opted to use a semi-automatic weapon for this class, so I used the 1911 pistol as my secondary. With a powerful trigger finger, it’s the perfect crutch to fall back, if Black Ops Type 63 runs out of ammo.
Lethal – Black Ops Type 63
With aggression being the name of the game, frag grenades are the lethal item of choice. Launch a hail Mary into a crowded area on the map for maximum impact.
Ideal for slowing enemies from moving to your location, a well-timed stun grenade can make it easy to destroy.
Field Upgrade – Black Ops Type 63
This will increase your awareness of your surroundings even further by placing the Field Microphone in front of your position to listen for any incoming footsteps coming towards you.
- Flak Jacket
This selection is somewhat simpler than the other downloads, but it still works fine. The Flak Jacket increases your explosion resistance, the Tracker lets you see any enemy footsteps nearby, and Ninja gives you the ability to sprint gently around the map.
The Gunfighter Wildcard is the perfect addition to maximizing the Type 63’s capabilities on the battlefield. With eight accessories fitted, it was very unlikely to go wrong with this underrated tactical rifle.
Black Ops Type 63 Lawbreaker build
- Optic: Millstop Reflex
- 16.4″ Titanium (Barrel)
- Spetsnaz Ergonomic Grip (Underbarrel)
- Spetsnaz Field Grip (Handle)
- Gru Elastic Wrap (Stock)
- Law Breaker (Wildcard)
The main weaknesses of the Black Ops Type 63 default are iron long-range, slow rate of fire, and difficult handling. Thankfully, fixing these problems isn’t too difficult for Black Ops Cold War’s gunman. For starters, I recommend the Millstop Reflex. We think it’s the cleanest vision in the game as it does a great job of not obstructing any of the vision. Possible alternatives include LED Quickdot and Hawksmoor.
As for your choice of barrels, don’t be tempted by anything that increases the damage. Type 63 can only do 74 base damage even with the heaviest barrel possible. Since Black Ops’ Cold War enemies have 150 base health, you’ll still need a combo shot to kill two shots. Hence, your best option is to choose instead
