It’s important to be prepared when playing Call of Duty: Warzone. The weapon you choose will have a huge impact on how a match plays out for you, so you’ll want to choose a weapon that suits your style of play. While there are a lot of great weapon choices to use, one of the most underrated is the FN Scar 17 assault rifle. It’s easy to understand why so many players choose to use these Another weapon instead of Scar, but if you know how to use it, you can completely defeat the opponent. But what kind of attachments, privileges, and devices should you use for Scar loadout?
Scar FN 17 overview
Before we learn about the best Scar loadout and how to use Scar, let’s take a look at the weapons overview. The FN Scar 17 is one of the least used assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone. Multiplayer is muted by its low clip size of 20, but even so, it’s still an absolute power of a weapon if you know how to use it. It does high damage, can kill enemies at long range, and can control recoil.
It is a weapon that is not the most versatile but excels in mid to long-range encounters. In Warzone, many of the gun battles you enter can be medium to long-range – making Scar a respectable choice on the battlefield. It’s not the easiest weapon to use, but once you figure it out, you’ll probably love it. Let’s take a look at some of the best ways to get Scar in Warzone.
Scar loadout: Long-range
Muzzle: Monolithic suppressor
Barrel: FORGE Tac 20.0″ LB
Stock: XRK Obelisk Pro
Underbarrel: Commando foregrip
Rear grip: Granulated grip tape
The FN Scar 17 excels at mid to long-range, and most players who use it will prioritize its performance-enhancing setup from a distance. Ideally, you should increase the weapon’s accuracy and control as much as possible, to make sure you can kill long-range killers. That’s why we recommend adding a Monolithic suppressor in the Scar loadout – to improve its range, increase its damage from afar and keep you away from enemy radar. The FORGE Tac’s LB 20.0-inch barrel will also improve weapon handling when engaged in long-range shootouts – at the cost of a slower aiming rate (ADS).
Scar loadout: Close range
- Muzzle: Monolithic suppressor
- Barrel: FORGE Tac CQC Pro
- Laser: Tac laser
- Stock: FTAC collapsible
- Ammunition: 30-round mags
To be honest, the Scar isn’t really designed for close use. You can make it work, but you’ll find the best weapon in the mid-range. However, you can equip attachments that will definitely improve your odds. The attachments will reduce the weapon’s weight, improve mobility, and speed up ADS time, making the Scar loadout much better at mid-range. As usual, start with Mono block suppressor to keep you away from enemy radar and increase accuracy. If you find the weapon is running too slow, you can swap out the Monolithic suppressor for a light suppressor.
