There’s not much on offer here for players, and it’s pretty limited no matter what platform you’re playing on. As for PC, there are more VR-based video games than anything, but we’ll avoid just getting this list on this list with VR arcade games. While we wait for the EA Fight Night franchise to return, here are some of the best PC Boxing games available to play.
Real Boxing – PC Boxing games
Real Boxing, you’ve heard it before on this list, but there are some small options when it comes to boxing games, so don’t jump on this title expecting a big hit. With that said, Real Boxing is probably almost like a Fight Night video game that we can get without going through emulation and ROM.
In Real Boxing, players will be able to customize their boxers and level up to become legendary heavyweight fighters. The mechanics are quite diverse, allowing the player to deal with a hook, stab, and cut across, while simultaneously stopping your opponent.
As mentioned, the career mode allows players to level up to become a huge boxing star along with the ability to customize the character and based on their stats between matches.
This is also a relatively older video game when Real Boxing released into the market in 2014. So for now, we will have to wait and see if the developers choose to bring another part to the market. or not because this game is currently the best non-VR boxing game available for the PC platform.
Knockout League – PC Boxing games
Knockout League is a virtual reality-based boxing video game and it’s not something to take seriously. This is a fun boxing-style game that can be fun for a wide variety of players.
In these PC Boxing games, players will experience an arcade-style boxing title with opponents of anything from octopus to pirates. Likewise, since there are many different boxers, you will need to figure out what strategy to use against the opponent and know what moves to dodge.
So here’s a little bit of a puzzle game with wacky enemies similar to the iconic Nintendo Punch Out series. It’s also worth noting that there is DLC for this game as well as with the Knockout League Heavy Bag. This DLC gives players a new training game where you are performing various punches, speed, precision, and endurance with a heavy bag.
Creed: Rise to Glory
Another VR title that’s worth a look at if you want a more simulation-based boxing experience is Creed: Rise to Glory. This is a game based on the Creed franchise where the player takes on the role of Adonis Creed as he ranks for his boxing legacy.
That’s a huge step up from the previously mentioned VR title, Knockout League, as you’re tackling having more strategy in your boxing instead of a more cheerful approach. Players will go through a series of battles with each opponent being a little more difficult to deal with than the final one.
However, if you are not interested in fighting computer AI opponents then you can join your battle online. This game supports PvP gameplay so you can fight an online friend or a random player.
It’s one of the better PC Boxing games in general, which is a pity since it means you’ll need a gaming PC capable of running virtual reality headsets and, above all, with ears. Listen compatible with motion controls.
