To begin with the new horror games list. From Tango Gameworks, the developers behind The Evil Within series have come up with a new IP, GhostWire: Tokyo. This video game was launched during E3 2019, where we got a snippet of information. Working as a third-person action-type video game with spooky elements scattered without, players are taking in a new kind of horror game from the development studio.
We didn’t get a lot from the announcement rollout for GhostWire: Tokyo although we do know that as the title suggests, this game will take place in Tokyo. Something strange happened in the city and everyone seemed to disappear completely from the thin air.
It is the player’s task to find the cause of all the disappearances and along the way, you will come across supernatural entities that can be either hostile or nice. It’s a unique jump from The Evil Within that brings a more linear horror approach while it seems GhostWire: Tokyo is looking to bring gameplay into a more open world, but it’s purely speculative at the moment.
The Outlast Trials – new horror games

Red Barrels was first established in 2011, where the developer has delivered a hugely successful horror series called Outlast. The video game franchise has only two main parts, but we do know that the third is in a work called The Outlast Trials.
This will be a unique game compared to the two parts before this game is focused on multiplayer. No information has actually been revealed about the game but from what has been stated, the game will focus on test subjects conducted during a cold war test.
Resident Evil Village – new horror games

Resident Evil has been fans’ favorite survival horror video game franchise for years, and over those years we’ve seen new major, spin-off sequels alongside remakes. There’s no shortage of Resident Evil video titles to enjoy but in 2021 we’ll have a sequel to the events of Resident Evil 7. This one of the new horror games are supposed to take place a few years after Ethan exits the insane Baker family.
However, as soon as Ethan felt comfortable again, Chris Redfield rushed in and left him to pieces. Now Ethan is on a new journey hoping to find Chris and get an answer. Now, this journey will take Ethan to a mysterious village that seems unfamiliar with new enemies and creatures lurking. Like before, we’ll also see Resident Evil Village do the first-person setup, however, we’re still waiting to see some game footage.
